Description

Aydosper® NBA 64 is a modified naphthalene sulfonate-based superplasticizer concrete additive that significantly increases concrete strength with a low water/cement ratio and enhances workability. It substantially improves flowability without increasing the water content and without the risk of segregation, providing high durability.

Applications

• Used in high-quality and high-strength concrete.

• Concrete requiring high water reduction and extended workability.

• Areas where early formwork removal or rapid loading is required.

• Used in architectural concrete, engineering, and artistic structures.

• Complex and detailed molds requiring various geometries in structural elements.

• Concrete requiring impermeability.

Properties / Advantages

• Increases both early and final strength of concrete.

• Provides high unit weight and strength.

• Results in low voids, good surface appearance, and more impermeable concrete.

• Eliminates the risk of segregation.

• Provides homogeneous and cohesive concrete.

• Improves mechanical properties like shrinkage and creep.

• Significantly reduces the concrete mix water content.

• Imparts self-compacting properties to the concrete.

• Reduces formwork times.

• Eliminates noise pollution as there is no need for vibration.

• Enables long-distance pumping of concrete.

• Increases concrete's resistance to freeze-thaw cycles and improves its durability.

Dosage

• It is recommended to use between 0.8 – 1.8 kg per 100 kg of binder (cement-microsilica-fly ash).
• The dosage may vary depending on the properties of the aggregates, concrete grade, water/cement ratio, water quality, and ambient temperature. Therefore, it is advisable to perform preliminary trial mixes in the laboratory to determine the appropriate dosage.
