Description

Aydosper® CGA 530 is a modified polymer-based superplasticizer concrete additive that enables the production of high workability, low water/cement ratio concrete. It increases both early and final strengths by reducing the water content in the mix.

Applications

• Concrete requiring high final strength.

• Concrete with dense and smooth surface requirements.

• Concrete requiring high water reduction and long workability.

• Concrete where early formwork removal or rapid loading is required.

• Concrete for foundations, slabs, beams, columns, and walls.

• Concrete for bridges, viaducts, tunnels, airports, and dams.

Properties / Advantages

• Significantly enhances early high-strength development.

• Allows normal setting time without delaying the setting process.

• Provides high unit weight and strength.

• Enables pumping concrete over long distances.

• Reduces curing time and temperature in precast element production, saving energy.

• Improves concrete's resistance to freeze-thaw cycles and enhances mechanical properties such as shrinkage and creep.

• Reduces segregation and bleeding, increasing wear resistance.

• Produces smoother and better-looking concrete surfaces.

• Ensures easy placement and smooth surface in low water/cement ratio applications without loss of workability.

Dosage

• It is recommended to use between 0.8 – 1.9 kg per 100 kg of binder (cement-microsilica-fly ash).
• The dosage may vary depending on the properties of the aggregates, concrete grade, water/cement ratio, water quality, and ambient temperature. Therefore, it is advisable to perform preliminary trial mixes in the laboratory to determine the appropriate dosage.
